Orlando Pride started aggressively in the first 5 minutes of the game through forward Sydney Leroux. Cluff was very good in the midfield, recovering balls, and supporting the backline.

A misjudgment outside the box caused goalkeeper Erin to catch the ball with her hands, causing a dangerous shot, which ended up hitting the wall.

The best U21 player in the world Trinity Rodman scored a goal with a shot outside the box to the far post of the Orlando Pride goalkeeper.

A corner kick was taken by Gunn where she passed the ball to Petersen and she crossed a dangerous ball into the box where the center back Megan headed a pass to Sydney who ended up smashing the ball off the post.

Darian was looking to create chances with individual dribbles that ended with crosses or corner kicks.

Before the end of the first half, Megan Montefusco won 3 headers from 4 corner kicks.

A first-half that was played very tough physically.

The second half was played with dangerous chances on both sides, Washington controlled the midfield better when they had the ball.

Great save by Erin in the one-on-one against the Washington Spirit forward.

Viviana’s excellent performance, recovering, making field changes, coming out to play on the opponent’s mark, and coming down to help the defense.

Washington Spirit scored the second goal with a great left foot finish from an excellent through ball from Ashley Sanchez. (a rebound that came off from Megan’s clearance).

Arbello took a shot from outside the box that came close to opening the scoring for the home team, who came in at right-back and ended up playing left-back.

Cluff scored a nice goal for Orlando Pride, with a great header assist by Listro.

Orlando Pride fought very hard in the last minutes looking for the equalizer.

Viviana Villacorta made an amazing pass into the space where Jordan Listro passed the ball to Julie Doyle and she found Darian Jenkins alone on the left side of the field where Orlando Pride’s striker finished with great quality and serenity, scoring the final goal to tie the game 2-2.

Great job by Listro who came in and participated in both goals. 2-2
