9: Roman Celentano is now tied for the MLS lead in clean sheets with 9, tying Seattle’s Stefan Frei. Frei has played one more match than Celentano.

10: FC Cincinnati became the fourth team in MLS history to win 10 straight home matches, tied with the 2002 San Jose Earthquakes.

15: Stiven Jimenez became the fifth youngest player in MLS history to debut at 15 years and 362 days old.

50: Lucho Acosta became the 28th player (eighth active) in MLS history to record at least 50 goals and 50 assists.

MOTM: Luciano Acosta (CIN)

It’s back to your regularly scheduled programming – Lucho Acosta doing Lucho Acosta things. This time, a goal and an assist at home to make history. Lucho completed 5 dribbles on 69 touches and was pivotal offensively for an FC Cincinnati side that was without the services of USMNT forward Brandon Vazquez.

But Wednesday was a day for the history books. Acosta helped Cincinnati get their 10th straight MLS home win to start the season, tying the 2002 San Jose Earthquakes. A win against New England next Saturday would break the record. Acosta also became the 28th player in MLS history to reach the 50-50 mark, that’s 50 goals and 50 assists in MLS.
