MOTM: Dom Badji (CIN)
Dom Badji finally made his return to Colorado after joining FC Cincinnati before the 2022 campaign. Since joining the Orange and Blue, the only thing Badji failed to do was… score. Even last week in the “Hell is Real” match, he assisted Acosta, and drew a PK – but no goal. He broke his scoreless streak wearing the FC Cincinnati crest on Saturday when he scored the lone goal of the match against his former club.
With Brenner gone, Santos hurt again, and Quimi finishing up the U20 World Cup, Badji had his chance to shine for FC Cincinnati and he has not disappointed. With the lack of depth at the striker position right now, Badji will undoubtedly get more opportunities to score for FC Cincinnati.
