Under the scorching heat and suffocating humidity, the Houston Dynamo once again found themselves in a familiar setting their home turf. In a remarkable display of skill and teamwork, they outplayed LAFC, securing a 4-0 victory. The triumphant atmosphere was fueled by the unwavering support of the Dynamo faithful, passionately gathered in the HustleTown section.
The first goal came courtesy of Nelson Quinones, who has been delivering stellar performances consistently. The Colombian loanee found himself in a position of opportunity deliberating his next move with the ball. He skillfully cut inside and took a shot, which deflected favorably into the net. This moment marked his debut MLS goal and propelled the Dynamo into a one-goal lead.

Quinones didn’t stop there his impact on the match continued as he drew a penalty, expertly converted by the penalty specialist, Amine Bassi. With Corey Baird entering the match as a substitute for Quinones, he wasted no time making his presence felt. Baird displayed relentless energy, winning the ball high up the field and promptly capitalizing on the opportunity by maneuvering past the LAFC defense and delivering a clinical finish, stretching the lead to an emphatic 3-0.
Meanwhile, Franco Escobar showcased not only his defensive ability but also his remarkable attacking abilities against his former team. With a thunderous strike from outside the box, he found the back of the net, leaving LAFC stunned.
Faced with the challenge of playing away from home, the Dynamo ventured to the BANC Stadium in Los Angeles, determined to secure valuable points against the consistently strong LAFC at their stronghold. In a tightly contested match, Micael, who has stepped up instead of the injured Teenage Hadebe, finally found the breakthrough. A precise cross from Hector Herrera and after taking a touch from new Danish Center back Sviatchenko found its way to Micael’s feet, and with impeccable timing, he unleashed a powerful shot that nestled into the net. From that point onward, the Dynamo asserted control, dictating the flow of the game and ultimately cruising to a hard-fought 1-0 victory. This away triumph marked their first of the season and served as a testament to their growth and resilience.

Next up, the Dynamo return home to face an inconsistent San Jose team. The midfield trio of the San Jose Earthquakes will put the defensive strength of Hell in the Shell to the test. The Dynamo will seek to neutralize their opponents and maintain their impressive momentum.
