Another chapter of the rivalry between Atlanta United and Orlando City SC ended today at Mercedez Benz Stadium  with a 0-0 draw. The Lions remain unbeaten, and extend their streak to 10 games. The lions playing with a lot of their bench players, had the most clear chances to score, kudos to the backfield that were able to stop the Atlanta players on the flanks and to the midfield that were able to defensively press the ball with high intensity every time Atlanta had possession. The clearest chances to score for the Lions were, in the 30th minute,  Orlando city Robinho’s shot hit the post. In the second half, Minute 78 Nani hits the crossbar due to a curved shot.

In addition Brian Rowe who filled in for International Pedro Gallese, Denied several plays. Atlanta didn’t stay put either, on the 11th minute Brad Guzan gave us a double save.  Later on in the game, he also stopped a potential goal from Junior Urso and also saved a diving header from rookie Daryl dike.

Orlando’s keeper Brian Rowe, filling in for Pedro a Gallese did a superb job denying ATL’s Miles Robinson’s header and Anton Walkes efforts. Mind you this game was friction since it’s start, there were a lot of scuffles and also we witnessed an exchange of words between both coaches. Orlando ended up taking the draw, which is vital for what’s to come in the MLS.
