Gotham FC faced off against Washington Spirit in the third game of the Challenge Cup. Both teams are known for focusing on possession in their playing style, so it was going to be a tough battle from beginning to end. A victory secured them a spot in the final on May 8th, otherwise, Gotham depends on the result against North Carolina Courage.
Houston Dash upsets Kansas City home opener.
Houston Dash resumed their activity in the Challenge Cup as they visited Kansas City. The visitors came from two scoreless matches, while Kansas looked to turn things around after their defeat in the last game. A motivating factor for the locals was the opportunity to play their first professional game in franchise history at home with fans in attendance.

Aiming to bounce back from the club’s first loss against the Spirit. Racing Louisville, took the early lead at home in front of their 3,742 fans.
