Coach Vanney said, I don’t think LAFC is the best team in the league, there are better teams right now. “ Via Area Sports Network Zoom Press

Clearly it was an upsetting  3-2 score on his team. He mentioning LAFC isn’t the best was discouraging to hear him say, after Hernandez mentioned, “respect is what we have for each team” After giving his input on the game Vanney clearly has not been seeing the standing of the MLS teams or been studying his biggest rival of the league, the loss really hurt him today.

After coming back from a confident 4-0 against East’s coast great Montreal, the loss today was heavy on the them. Keeping in mind that what is usually a lifting thing for the press, was sought to be a bit hurtful, watching the players trying to leave quickly out of the conference room at the Banc of California Stadium, Friday night July 8, 2022

Victor Vasquez and Marco Delgado both adding on todays match, “ We still have a second half of matches to preform on after todays disappointing game against our biggest rivals LAFC.” and Victor Vasquez also adding to that note, “ It was frustrating but we didn’t stop we were looking for the win, especially in the momentum we were coming from. The substitutes could have been a-lot better sooner but it was just small details from todays game.”

The games slowed down after the 1-1 tie, it almost seemed as if the team was settling by also not putting in the substitutes that we’re going to head in at the 1-0 mark. The Galaxy boys grew frustrated but didn’t allow for any bowing of the heads to LAFC,  at the 3-2 in 90th minute LAFC grew confident and that’s when things were starting to brighten up for Galaxy, “ we will not give up we are ready to fight on the full 90 minutes, we will not stop, a derby is a derby we will fight till our lives” said Javier “ little Pea “ Hernandez  at the past  Thursday training before heading to LAFC.

Although LAFC can’t always hold up a winning streak when playing against Galaxy in the last 6 previous matches to these Classico games, they were able to this time around and that was something Chicharito was conscious it could happen.

And Even though you could see him in minute 52’ trying to score trying to get touches on the ball and motivate his team to keep the pressure up, the team just didn’t give as much as he did tonight to get the win. “ We’re not too confident because we respect our rivals, every single one of them, we are confident in what we have, and we’ll will fight on always till the end with who ever it is, San Jose Earthquake, Colorado, Atlanta, who ever the opponent is we will give it are all and fight.” Hernandez also added at the training on Thursday July 7, 2022

Possibly tonight’s 3-2 wasn’t what LA Galaxy and everyone wanted, perhaps, Coach Vanney must of not been studying the rival enough,  and the many new star faces on the LAFC roster could have intimidated Coach Vanney and the gang.

Todays match, did bring a confident booster tonight for Galaxy and the boys but to prepare and see them in the next round of Classicos.
